You see, Teresa’s family was very wise. Her daughter Alana instantly started looking for such a cat in shelters, but it was nowhere to be found. She didn’t give up, though. But, fate had other plans, and a feral cat bearing those exact colors appeared on the family’s doorstep.

A Miracle from Heaven

Teresa was obsessed with white and orange cats after such a tabby wandered into her home in the 1990s. She was the best cat, but after a long and happy life, she died. The family adopted another similar cat, and it died from old age in 2008. Teresa has wanted a white and orange cat since then, and it was time for a new cat to enter the family.

Tom the cat was a godsend. He appeared right on her doorstep, but Teresa was a bit hesitant and first. But, her husband and Alana agreed to take him in, and it was the best decision ever.

It was tough at first. Tom wasn’t the friendliest cat. After a week, he was a bit more comfortable, but no one could still touch him. Months have passed before he allowed the Bateses to scratch him. He turned into an adorable monster, and Teresa was lucky to have him. It may not have been the kitten she wished for at first, but with a lot of love, he eventually became that.

Ben Franklin was brought to the Animal Welfare Society in Connecticut after its elderly owner passed away. His sad look was instantly spotted by the staff. He was obviously sad for his owner, but as it turned out, that look was the result of its crossed eyes. The staff thought they were cute. Ben was then passed out to the vet, and no irregularities were found. His eyes and eyesight were great, and Ben was in great shape from a medical point of view.

Pets with a different look often have a hard time getting adopted. That’s not the case with Ben Franklin. His look is what makes him appealing, but his timid personality is the obstacle to finding a loving home. He’s probably still connected to his deceased owner, and isn’t as playful as other cats. And, while there haven’t been any takers yet, the staff is hoping to find a new home by sharing his story on social media.

We hope that he finds a loving home soon so that sad frown turns into a smile.

Cat Missing for Days Comes Back Home and Rings the Doorbell

Lily usually left the home, but always came back the same day. This time, something was different. The family was worried after she didn’t return home by night, and even after searching the whole neighborhood, she was nowhere to be found. It felt like forever, but Lily eventually found her way back home in 4 days.

She did it in the most impossible way – by ringing the doorbell. Imagine the family’s surprise when they opened the door curious to see who it is and learning it was their days-lost cat. Lily obviously learned to ring the doorbell in the time spent outside, and needless to say, they were all shocked and happy.

We don’t really know how she learned that, considering that cats are not into technology. But, we’re glad that Lily came back home, although we hope she doesn’t play with that doorbell all the time. It would be annoying, wouldn’t it?

Bonded Forever

The duo’s story was shared online by the Saving Grace center and caught the attention of one woman. They were inseparable for 8 years, but due to the dog’s blindness and the fact that they always go in pair, adoption requests were unlikely. Saving Grace’s director Erin Deems was determined to find them a home, and social media helped.

While many felt sorry for the dog, Spike, he was just as happy as any other pup. His partner in crime, Max, was always there for the blind dog. They were always together and Erin wanted to find a home that’ll get them both.

Their new home is all the way in Manitoba. Thanks to the social media post, they found a new mom quickly, and have already settled in nicely. We hope they live long and prosperous lives together.

A cat with one heart and a big heart, her journey from Princess to Queen Cat has been documented on an Instagram page. Ivy’s life wasn’t always a fairytale. She was found wondering the streets and was taken in a shelter where she stayed for three months. The shelter was trying to promote her on social media sites, but no one liked a cat with one eye. Until one kind woman saw the pic and recognized Ivy’s royalty potential.

From the moment they met, Ivy won over her new mom’s heart. The woman decided she’ll treat her as a princess, or as a Queen cat after a period of adjustment. Now living happily ever after, Ivy—or Miss Kitty to her friends—enjoys being pampered all day long.

She starts the day with a big bowl of food, plays and rests a little, then it mostly follows the same pattern until her night of beauty sleep. It’s the divine fairytale life many cats dream of, but also a story of rags to riches. She might have been a beggar before, but after a princess phase, she’s now the Queen she always dreamed of.

Bit by bit, the owner, Judd, and staff liked the idea of having another colleague. He kind of became a celebrity and nearby shop owners came in every day petting One Speed Terri. In just a short time, the pub became the most popular location on the spot.

No one minded the extra attention, and neither did Terri. The staff even made her a special house to sleep in. What’s her favorite thing? The tabby likes to keep chairs warm for others and he loves getting pets and posing for photos. This story made the national news, so the pub’s expecting even more customers nowadays. It’s all thanks to one cat, and we love the fact it found such a great and loving home.

That wasn’t their first encounter. Mica had met Zuko before. Her friend saw it too, wandering around the garden aisle. Sitting on bags of dirt, Zuko didn’t mind having its pictures taken. The last time Mica saw Zuko, she decided to share the pics online, prompting cute responses such as “I’d like to speak to the meownager”. Zuko’s responsibilities were clear – keep rats off the property.

What she didn’t know is that his days working in a store were coming to an end. A promotion was waiting for her thanks to associate Lora Herrera.

A Tough Upbringing

Zuko first popped up in the store six months ago, looking for a place to give birth to her kittens. Those were taken by the staff, while associate manager Lora Herrera had her eye on Zuko. She named the cat after a character on Avatar: The Last Airbender. After six months of hard work, Zuko got a promotion. Lora took him to her home where the ex-mommy now enjoys living life to the fullest.

As you can see, hard work always paid off. It worked for Zuko, and it will work for you.

Vanessa Petrasko was the lucky lady. Her now-fiance, Mike Lovely, waited for the perfect moment to propose to her. It took a bit of time, but he just couldn’t find that moment. Until Vanessa decided to go to a shelter and adopt a kitten. It was the moment Mike was waiting for.

An Unusual Proposal

At the beginning of 2021, Vanessa and Mike decided to get a pet. They went to the Animal Friends shelter in Pittsburgh and fell in love with a tiny kitty named Molly. When they went into a meeting room with Molly, Mike had a surprise. As soon as Vanessa sat down, he took the kitty in his hands, went down on one knee, and asked her to marry him.

Imagine her surprise! She said yes, of course, and yes, there was a ring. The whole situation was so cute that the shelter instantly shared pictures on their Facebook account. “They’re getting meowied!”, they wrote, and thousands of likes started pouring in.

They will remember this moment forever, and Molly will be there to remind them. It marked two big moments for the happy couple, and the adoption of a kitten who will also remember this for her whole life. May they all live happily ever after.

Today, we want to introduce you to yet another big boy—Vincent. He is a Maine coon cat from Russia who attracts attention not only with his enormousness and large and vibrant eyes, but also with his black and silky fur, which resembles that of a black panther.

The beautiful cat has a profile on TikTok and Instagram. His combined follower count on these two platforms is more than 500 thousand. Accompanied by his owners, Andrey and Anastasia, the mesmerizing feline enchants the feed with entertaining videos and photos which we find adorable!

Meet Andrey, Anastasia and their giant cat Vincent from Russia

The young couple got Vincent because they felt that something in their daily lives was missing

According to Andrey, it was too early for the two to think about a child, so they decided that a cat would be just right

Andrey shared with us that they understood that getting a cat would cause some difficulties in renting an apartment. Animals are very rarely allowed. However, the couple decided to get this fluffy creature anyway since his little face immediately captured their hearts.

The couple saw a picture of Vincent on the Avito website, which is an analog for eBay. “His muzzle in the photo in the ad seemed to be calling us.”

“The day we were bringing Vincent to his new home, I noticed a lot of people were peeking at him. The long torso and large head certainly made it look unique compared to other cat breeds, but what everyone noticed, first of all, was the look. Many said that he looks like a person.”

The couple didn’t choose the cat’s name immediately. They wanted it to come naturally.

The name Vincent came to Andrey and Anastasia while watching the series “Brassic”. That’s what the main character was called, which somehow resembled their new pet.

Vincent is 11 months now and weighs around 20 pounds

Andrey shared that picking him up from the floor is already quite a difficult task

However, Vincent is expected to continue growing for another 1-2 years

Vincent’s owners noticed that the cat attracts a lot of attention so they created an Instagram and a TikTok accounts featuring photos and videos of Vincent

“The cat grew up as a hard-to-reach, graceful being that is always closely watching what we are doing, and at the same time sensitive to various forms of human pain”

“Like any child, he is very curious. Therefore, wherever we are, in the bedroom, in the shower, or in the closet, he keeps a close eye on us.

He loves to play with a small ball twisted from foil. The cat masterfully plays football with this toy, and when he gets bored, he brings it to the bed in his teeth and asks us to throw it to him, after which he catches the ball and brings it again for us to throw. So it’s not just the size of a dog.”

“He always reacts very emotionally to our sneezes, shouting something in his own language in response”

Andrey shared that their guests are sometimes shocked, not only by the big size of the cat but also by the fact that the couple allows him to sit with them at the dinner table. Or rather, lie on the table while they eat. “He already occupies almost the entire table with his size.”

Another amazing feature that Maine coon cats have, according to Andrey, is the sounds the animals make. “Instead of the usual ‘meow,’ they produce a more velvety and pleasant ‘noise,’ more like a rumbling.”

As a closing remark, Andrey shared that it is not as easy to take care of Vincent as it might look so people should think carefully before buying or adopting a cat

Despite not being easy to take care of, Vincent is still a playful and adorable cat

After two weeks in a shelter, the kittens were no closer to finding a foster home. Jen had to step in and ensure they—and especially Clock—got the help they needed. While they were 6-8 weeks old, the kittens were malnourished, and little Clock had the weight of a 3-week old. Their momma, Goose, was only one. She weighed 5.4 pounds, and despite her struggles, she was very kind and loving. Everyone was worried the most about Clock. He wasn’t doing fine, and without Jen’s help, he wouldn’t have made it.

But, with a lot of feeding and help from Jen, little Clock doubled his weight in two weeks. Now out of the woods, she’s doing much better and is quite the character. A very vocal kitty, Clock loves playing with her mom and siblings, which is proof that the kitten that was once runt of the litter is doing great.

Now weighing five pounds, Jen and the Wrenn Rescue staff are looking have already lined up a home for her. Momma Goose is blossoming too besides her other kitties – she’s probably delighted that they’re all OK. Thanks to the help of kind people who shared this story and Jen too, Clock will finally live in a warm and loving home.

With proper care and a lot of dedication from the team, it didn’t take long before Sinbad healed. His beautiful fur was restored, and he was doing much better after a few weeks. Besides getting his health back, Sinbad also started showing his great temperament. He loved petting with everyone in the center, and he wasn’t a high-maintenance cat. As long as they loved him and fed him, he was doing great.

During his time in foster cat, he emerged as a great companion to kittens in need. The staff says that he found his life calling, hanging out with smaller kittens all the time, talking to them with his squeaky voice. He’s so kind and caring that there’s no better fosterer than him.

He had it lucky, and decided to repay the people who saved him in the best way possible. We salute his resolve, and congratulate the Good Karma Pet Rescue for a job well done.

Her family couldn’t afford her are anymore due to increasing prices, so they brought her to a local shelter in their city. Unfortunately, the shelter was at full capacity and couldn’t help. The good news is that they got in touch with the Best Friends Felines organization who immediately arranged a foster home for the unlucky cat.

Even at 22 years old, Thelma was a beaut. The organization decided to help her, keeping her belly full and treating her ailments. Being over 20 years old, it was clear that Thelma wasn’t in the best possible shape. With the power of social media and a stroke of luck, Best Friends Felines found the perfect carer for this cat.

Thelma has bounced back from her health issues and is loving her life in a new home. She’ll live the remainder of her life with a full belly and proper love and cuddles, just like she deserves.
