Womаn Finds Thrеe Abandоned Kittеns in Boх And Knоws Exactlу Whаt To Dо

Tamara Safaya was walking through the streets of war-torn Damascus, Syria, when she spotted a cardboard box. On closer inspection she discovered there were three abandoned kittens inside.

For most of the people living there, rescuing unwanted animals would not be on their minds, which is understandable giving the difficulties they are going through on a daily basis.

Luckily for these three tiny kittens, Tamara belongs to a makeshift group of animal lovers who have formed an association (Syrian Association for Rescuing Animals) to help and rehouse abandoned and unwanted animals in this time of unrest.

So for now, the three white siblings were safe and looked after.

Once Tamara had taken these kittens off the streets, with the help of SARA she managed to find a foster mother that could offer them what they needed.

Lulu is a lactating mama cat who readily accepted the abandoned kittens into her family.

SARA describe their situation: “We are a team of members from Damascus City who are active in the field of rescuing, feeding and treating every animal in need. We don’t have any center or shelter because we don’t have enough funding sources. We are facing difficulties in getting a governmental license for our organisation because the government is busy with the war issues. Our future ambition is to build a shelter for animals in Damascus.”

SARA is the only animal society existing in Syria. The three kittens are now named kittens, Lucky, a boy, and his two sisters Peace and Sedra (which means ‘a little bit of the heaven) will survive thanks to the dedication of these loving people.
