When a sweet little stray ginger tabby kitten arrived at the Vets Ranch he was in a terrible way.
They named him Sunshine and was brought in by a good samaritan because he’d been attacked by a larger feral cat.
One closer inspection they discovered a deep bite mark on the back of his spine that was infected and had left his back legs paralysed.
This tiny stray kitten was also was covered in fleas.
Fortunately one of the vets, Dr Matt, knew he could successfully treat Sunshine and restore his ability to walk.
After having a major bath to treat the fleas, Dr Matt set to work to make this little kitty better again. His muscles were weakened by the infection but within a few weeks he was able to walk on all fours once again.
Little sunshine made a complete recovery thanks to the diligence of everyone at the Vet Ranch.
