Twо Sеnior Brоthers Wаiting by Windоw to be Adoрted

Kelso and Fez are two ginger-haired brothers that have always lived together.

They had shared a good life for 12 wonderful years with their owners – but then their former humans had to give them up as they were moving away and couldn’t take these beautiful boys with them.

This abandonment was very hard on them and when they arrived at the Fredericksburg Regional RSPCA in Virginia they were totally disorientated and very confused about their new surroundings.

“These 12 year old twinsies are just about as sweet as you can get,” explained a spokesperson for the center.

“They are never far from each other’s side. Both are very laid-back, gentle, and affectionate. They’ve been with each other their whole lives.”

It was obvious that they needed to find a loving home soon, so the staff began sharing their story on social media, hoping that the right family would come along.

Despite their adorable and affectionate character, the two brothers did not attract any potential adopters, this was probably due to because their advanced age.

They were however in very good shape and above all still had a lot of love to give to whoever would like to give them a second chance. At least they were together to comfort each other but nothing really made them smile.

Nearly two months later and the boys were still waiting by the glass window, hoping that someone would come along and scoop them up, at least they had each other for comfort.

Then Mary Fultz saw a post on Facebook about the two siblings, they instantly stole her heart and she knew they would be a good match for her and her husband.

They both had a soft spot for senior kitties and the brothers reminded them of Morty, their 10-year-old ginger tabby.

“My heart filled with love and my eyes with tears,” said Mary.

She knew that the two siblings should not be separated at this stage in their lives.

This kind couple were completely smitten with Kelso and Fez, and the two brothers were so happy when they realized they were finally going to their new forever home.

The day arrived when the boys left the shelter for good to begin a new life, in a new family with their new brother Morty.

After five days Mary explained that the boys had settled in well, they had good appetites and loved their new surroundings and family.

Their house is now full of love and the boys know that this is their forever home.
