Busted? Not with an adorable face like that!
Most of you cat lovers and owners would be familiar with how these beloved curious creatures find the weirdest places to explore and take naps in. This little troublemaker found itself in the literal hands of the law when it decided to snooze in the engine compartment of a PDRM officer’s car two days ago.
Needless to say, Inspector Mohd Syukri Abdul, a senior police officer from the Northern Brigade General Operations Forces (PGA), was shocked to hear a faint mewing sound coming from inside his vehicle when he was driving from his home in Bidor, Perak to the police station in Ulu Kinta.
He immediately inspected his vehicle and found some precious cargo tagging along for a ride in his blue Proton Suprima.
The hilarious encounter was shared on PDRM’s Facebook page :
“With the help of some of the officers, the kitten was successfully removed from the vehicle and was given some food and a comfortable place to stay.”
The post praised Inspector Syukri for his kindness and sense of alertness which saved the poor little kitty from what could’ve potentially been a life ending situation. The heartwarming post has since garnered viral status with over 205 shares and 4,300 likes.
Netizens online offered hilarious excuses as to why the curious cat found itself in the engine compartment of a car. One Facebook user said, “The kitten was dreaming of becoming a police officer, that’s why he chose to hide in the a police officer’s car!”
Syukri has since responded to the viral post with an update on the cute kitty, now named “Suprima”, after the car it was found in. While the officer admitted that he was sadly unable to care for his furry friend right now, he ensured the public that he would help out in any way possible.
“Suprima is now under the care of one of the female officers here at the North Brigade.”
