When Hope For Paws got a call on their emergency line about a cat with an injured leg, they rushed to the scene to help the poor creature. When they found the cat’s place, a rescuer named Katie McKittrick headed out to save her. Thankfully, a good person caught her and took care of her until the rescuers arrived.
The cat was caught on a chain link fence. Her leg was injured due to a terrible accident, so they immediately took her to their vet center to give her proper medical treatment and care. Katie decided to call her Posey, an expensive and fashionable name that could make other people feel admiration.
At the vet, she was in very bad shape, but they tried their best to save her life. When they removed the bandage, they discovered half of her leg was amputated by the fence. They had no choice but to remove the rest of her leg to ensure her safety and her life. Thankfully, her surgery was performed successfully by Dr. Antonio Pedraza.
With the love and care of volunteers at Hope For Paws, Posey made a full recovery. She was healthy and strong enough to find a new home. Thanks to good people at Cat Connection, Posey found her forever home, where she even found the love of her life.

Posey is now living happily with her beloved people in her loving home. Not only does she have a wonderful home, she also has a best friend who loves her so much. Thank you all, the nice lady, the Hope For Paws team and the skilled vet for helping her. You’re all wonderful people!
We feel sad because this sweet cat lost her leg, but we feel more happy because you Angels saved this cat and find her a forever home. What a happy ending for Posey. Loving forever home and a best friend!
