Shу Cаt Resсued Frоm the Streеt Finаlly Leаrns hоw to Тrust agаin

Not all street cats are feral, a lot of them are strays and for many different reasons have been abandoned or lost by their owners.

In this video we meet Morris, it was obvious from the start that wasn’t feral, despite his tough exterior. When he was rescued by the Flatbush team, the locals had said he’d been hanging around for about a year.

If you didn’t already know, Flatbush Cats is a organization focused on reducing the outdoor cat population in Brooklyn, New York.

There are over 500,000 cats on the streets of New York City and Flatbush Cats focus on trap, neuter and return training (TNR), mentoring and educating people in this process and of course cat rescue and adoption.

Morris was extremely shy, and it was felt that he was probably let down by his owner and left to cope alone on the streets.

The aim was to regain his trust over time and before long they heard his first purr. After relaxing in a calm stable environment for a few days Morris decided to let down his guard a little bit and allowed people to stroke him.

He was finally beginning to feel safe and because of this started to show his true personality. He loved attention he was receiving and had plenty of love to give back.

All he needed was a special person to believe in him.

We are so pleased that Morris got another chance to live a happy life.
